Disneyland 2023

We took an early-June trip to Disneyland ahead of pending layoffs at work (use the benefits while you can!), and had a great time! Four nights staying on property, and we went to the park all four days. Originally we planned for three days, but added a fourth day last minute because we were enjoying it so much. Being able to come and go as you like is key to enjoying the experience - for us, at least...I can't imagine going to Disneyland and staying there ALL DAY.

California Adventure awaits.

Trip highlights

  • First night was a Paradise Pier. I had low expecations but it wasn't bad! Cut through Grand California and you're at the park!
  • The pool at the Disneyland Hotel is great! Drink prices, not so great.
  • Each day we spent late morning at the park, afternoon at the hotel pool, and evening back at the park till close.
  • Grizzly River Run at Califorina Adventure was our favorite ride. We immediately went back to the hotel to change into dry clothes. Still worth it.
